
Sharjah’s Applied Media students dominated The ContentCom Applied Media Student Forum on Thursday, February 12, 2026, sweeping the top three prizes at the competition held at HCT Academic City in Dubai.
Competing against Applied Media students from HCT campuses across the UAE, the Sharjah team stood out in Adobe’s sponsored challenge to design the best motion poster celebrating the UAE’s 2026 national theme, “Year of the Family,” using the Adobe Express mobile app.
Their work not only captured the spirit of the theme but also impressed judges with its creativity, technical execution and storytelling — earning them first, second and third place, along with cash prizes.
Latifa Hisham Ali Abdelrahman Alzarooni (H00645122) secured first place.
Aisha Abdelrahman Abdalla Ali Alshuhail (H00495768) came in second.
Fatma Saeed Mohammed Binhazeem Alfalasi (H00443705) placed third.
The clean sweep marks a major achievement for Sharjah’s Applied Media Division, highlighting the campus’s growing reputation for creative excellence and digital innovation.
